How far in advance should I book?
As soon as possible! Sydney dates, especially during wedding season and end-of-year corporate functions, book out quickly. I recommend reaching out 2 – 6 months in advance, but peak times can easily book out over a year or more in advance.
Do you book a magician in areas outside the Sydney CBD?
Yes. Tom regularly travels to venues across Greater Sydney, including Bondi, Mosman, Parramatta, Surry Hills, Coogee, and the Blue Mountains.

How long does a magic performance last?
Tldr; it depends on your event.
Tom doesn’t charge ‘by the hour’ but rather provides a package best suited to the programme of your event.
But to give an indication, for close-up magic an experienced magician like Tom can visit about 50-60 guests per hour. So as a guide, you can expect between 1 – 2 hours depending on your attendees.
A stage mentalism shows ranges from 20 to 60 minutes. Tom will discuss with you to help you choose the best format for your event goals and schedule.
Does a magician need a stage or special setup?
No stage is required for close-up magic performances. The magician will rove around groups mingling during drinks cocktail receptions and from table to table at dinners or a wedding breakfast.
For stage shows, Tom will bring everything needed for the act and can adapt to most indoor or outdoor spaces with minimal setup. The show is designed to be performed in small local venues through to large theatres and cruises.
Quality sound equipment is imperative for the best impact of a stage magic show. Ensure that your venue is set up with a microphone and speakers for the show; Tom will provide all this information upon booking.
